I had the pleasure of staying at a hotel with a great location, just steps away from the famous Nanjing road. The concierge desk was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in providing recommendations and suggestions. The room was well-maintained and had a modern design, with a pleasant surprise of a rainshower in the bathroom. The hotel also had reliable wireless internet, although the speed was mediocre. I would highly recommend this hotel for its prime location and comfortable rooms.

there was a pub/disco with very nosiy music until 2am on 1 May. We complained to the reception byt it seemed that they could not do anything in the middle of the night. We could not sleep and we transferred to another room on the other side of the hotel on 2 May. I thought the hotel should be more alert to these things and complained to the pub before the customers got agitated.

right place for city trip in shanghai. the entire experience was good.

The hotel is located in a prime area, close to many great spots, including a new mall and the popular HuaHai shopping street. It's conveniently situated next to the subway system, making it easy to explore other attractions. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great amenities and helpful staff.

One small downside is the pricey and not very good on-site restaurant, but there are plenty of other dining options in the surrounding area.

1. The Front Desk should explain the benefits of Wyndham Rewards member with the hotel. 2. The service of the Cafe in 2nd floor could improve.

Howard Johnson Huaihai Hotel Shanghai is the ideal place for a stay in Shanghai. We enjoyed the cleanliness and excellent hotel facilities. The hotel is conveniently located close to the S Shaanxi Rd train station and in a residential area. It is also situated near the main attractions in this city and is right on the metro line. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying.

Good location, right in the centre of town and easy access. Local transportation right outside the hotel.

Communication was a bid difficult but few of the hotel staffs understand a bid of english.
